Dog-toberfest(TM)

Berwyn's Oktoberfest celebration is in its 10th year and continues to draw in
crowds from all over the Chicagoland Area. This popular event is estimated
to bring in approximately 10,000 people.

The two days of fun will feature food vendors, crafters, a beer garden,
amusement rides, children's activities, musical performances AND a special
dog-friendly area!

The Dog-toberfest area will feature a "Doggie Beer Garden" where your pup
can play in the sprinklers, get a bath, and then snack on Pupizzas & Doggie
Brew! There will also be vendors, a pet psychic, a caricature artist, and many
more fun & exciting things for your pooch in the main Vendors and
Activities area. Also, free Giveaway Bags will be given out to the first 75
people who show up each day (150 total) and come to The Urban Mutt's
booth, so be sure to hurry over!

Of course, we can't forget about fun for humans, so you'll be able to get henna
tattoos of your dog and there will be an agility area that will put the skills of
owners and dogs to the test!

Also, this year's featured shelter is Waggin' Tails, which is also Cicero's
Animal Care and Control and currently takes in dogs from Berwyn as well.
The great thing about this shelter is that it's a no-kill facility, which is really
awesome considering they take in all kinds of animals from Cicero and
Berwyn. As our way of saying thanks, we'll be having a raffle at the event with
some great prizes and the proceeds will be donated to Waggin' Tails.

food & fun!
